....."draws"....
Just got in to work and am about to start tidying the shop up after a rather hectic Club Members Weekend.
But before I get going, I need to draw the prizes for our Birthday Weekend.
I have a Facebook give away winner to select, 10 Club Members prizes to sort out, but I thought I'd start with our Blog Winner..

Congratulations to.... Toni...

Your prize is waiting for you to collect on your next visit to us.. Enjoy!!
I also have a little selection of prizes for Sandie, our runner up (please contact me and I'll send them out to you)..
Right, next set of prizes about to be selected.. Cuppa first though I think.
Thanks for checking us out and have a great day.

One thing....

... leads onto another..
Hi Folks... I said in a couple of posts ago that I was inspired to make Mum's Birthday card by another project I had made using pretty much the same products and colour way...

Well, here is the little blighter that has started my current obsession with Red and Brown as a combination...
Again, it's using the Stamping Gear, but this time, for a change, not one of their stamps!!

The same, but two totally different effects.
Thanks for checking us out.
See you soon.

Happy Birthday Mum...

... Hi folks... See, I said they come thick and fast in our family... It was my Dads Birthday on Sunday, and today we Celebrate Mums...
So, for her card I have used my trusty Stamping Gear and even more trusty Petal Stamp..

It's not a colour way that I would have normally chosen ( Vintage Sepia - VersaFine Ink & Rhubarb Stalk - Memento Ink) but the colours worked so well on another project I have completed (coming soon) that I thought I'd use it on her card, and to great effect I might add..
"Happy Birthday Mum". Hope you enjoy your day.. xxx
Thanks for checking us out.
See you soon.

Pretty in Pink...

Hi folks.. Last one of the samples I made using the Festive Boot Stamp..
We've had a couple of "traditional" ones, a little bit of "Vintage" and now,

it's time for something a little bit more "Contemporary", and probably my favourite of the lot...
Thanks for checking us out.
See you soon.

Happy Birthday Dad...

... Hi folks... I love September... Why? Because in our family, it's Birthday Month.. We have the Shops 10th Birthday coming up, Mums Birthday is in a few days, Nanny Iris would have been 83 this year at the end of the Month, MY Birthday is just around the corner..
and today, we celebrate my Dads Birthday..

and here's the card I made for him..
He has always been a practical man and can turn his hand to anything, although we haven't let him loose on card making just yet!! but I'm sure it would be a doddle for him..
Each year it gets harder and harder to come up with an idea for his Birthday card, but this year I think I've cracked it!! Trying to encompass a few of his skills in wood and metal...

This project really had me reminiscing, anyone else remember Professor Yaffle from Bagpuss?
"Happy Birthday" Pops, hope you enjoy your day xx.
Thanks for checking us out.
See you soon.

Just a reminder...

...that it is the Essex Country Show here a Barleylands this weekend.
Pinnacles will be open as usual, but please note, there is an entrance fee to enter the show and therefore the Craft village.
So, if you are not intending on going to the show, it may be an idea planning a visit to us another time.
We apologies for this, but alas it is beyond our control.
Enjoy your weekend folks.

Time for a change...

... of colour way that is!! Hi folks.. Well, the Red and White Boot in my last post seems to have gone down a storm I thought I'd chance my (colouring) arm a bit and use it with something a bit more vintage...
So, tones of Brown and Cream for this one, or should that be Chocolate and Cream?!!

It's always about food with me.!! Well, not just me. Have you noticed how many crafting products, particularly Inks are named after foods? Guess who ever named them might have been a bit peckish at the time!!
Thanks for checking us out.
See you soon.

Worth the wait??...

...Hi folks... OK,Ok, They may be few and far between at the moment (samples that is), but hopefully they are worth the wait..?
Honestly, I have no idea where the time is going at the moment! I know I come to work, and I know I go home.. But what happens in between the two is evading me at the moment!!

Managing to churn out a few little gems though, so I must be getting something done!!
See you soon. (hopefully!!)
